PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES Business Services Industry sector comprises Professional Services and Engineering & Construction Industries. The Industry sector provides industry thought leadership both inside and outside SAP and determines and executes a SAP-wide plan to grow our software business in these industry segments.

The unit drives understanding of industry trends and future requirements and translates them into resulting products and solution needs, provides strategic customer relationship support, and acts as the interface between SAP global field and development organizations. The Industry sector consists of Solution Managers who translate business requirements into future SAP solutions and commercial managers who develop new business/ new revenue sources We are looking for a leader with good solution knowledge and commercial strength to accelerate our business around specific point solutions which go beyond the core business suite, in close co-operation with our technology partners and in-house SAP resources In addition to core solution and commercial skills, success in this position requires working effectively with key internal and external stakeholders, such as sales executives and product management, press and analysts, customers, and partners.

A strong sense of teamwork, the ability to thrive in a global matrixed organization, and persuasive communication skills are essential. EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS Define solution roadmaps for specific business issues addressed by our accelerated solutions by understanding the requirements through the eyes of our Business Services customers * Analyze the market to understand the full business potential.

* Develop a strategy and execution plan to realize market potential * Engage with Key Customers: Identify industry thought leaders for co-innovation to improve the SAP solution * Define a clear solution roadmap that packages SAP and Partner solutions in an accelerated timeframe to meet customer needs Ensure accelerated delivery of solutions to meet the roadmap * Define requirements of Partner solutions and ensure accelerated delivery of enhancements by partners as required * Define SAP related requirements and ensure accelerated delivery of SAP solution enhancements/ business content * Cultivate global key references for the accelerated solution Manage overall partner relationships * Work closely with solution partners and build a trust based executive level relationship * Drive joint commercial decisions with partners including joint solution offering, pricing, press/ analyst coverage, joint investment plan etc. Develop the business in close collaboration with the field sales organization * Own strategic Business Development for solution and translate into solid revenue numbers through close interaction with sales force * Ensure a solid GTM plan, including creation of necessary sales assets such as demos, customer presentations, training material etc.

* Participate in an expert capacity in strategic customer deals to support sales of the solution WORK EXPERIENCE * Minimum 12-15 years, including 10+years in the software industry * Demonstrated success in driving business value in a technology organisation * Background in Managing solutions and Dealing with technology partners * Experience managing GTM programs with Sales teams * Experience in working with senior-level management * Experience in working in and with international, virtual teams TRAVEL 20% EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES * Masters degree in business administration or information technology * Ability to understand customer needs/business value drivers in the context of the Business Services industry and translate them into clear solution roadmaps and GTM efforts * In-depth industry, market & solution knowledge * Strong communication skills (analysts, press, c-level) and presentation skills * Understand and realize Solution strategy * Analytical Problem Solving * SAP Business Acumen * Strong global business background * Ability to deliver and drive highly qualitative results in an dynamic environment * Strong initiative and aggressive approach to driving new ideas * Natural Networker and Entrepreneur in mindset (less)
