This position will be responsible for ensuring daily support to the legal community and many legal specific applications with a focus on customer service and application support. In addition, the incumbent will be expected to learn all of the legal applications in use and essentially become the IT support Subject Matter Expert.

The position will also be focused on continually improving the IT processes and systems including eDiscovery, Litigation Management, Matter Management, Document Management and other closely related applications. The position will report to the IT Legal Program Leader and will support a geographically dispersed Legal team.

This individual will be the point of contact for IT interaction with the Legal Department or as escalation of issues occur. The support role requires the individual to develop and foster relationships with key business representatives in IT, the Legal Department, Vendors, and Consultants.

The position will require a mix of IT technical skills (SQL, DB, Networking, etc) and systems portfolio management. The incumbent will also be expected to attending training on the various Legal applications as they build their foundation of becoming the Subject Matter Expert on Legal applications and processes.

Core Responsibilities Include: *Liaison with the Legal team to provide daily support for IT related activities related to Lifetech*s core Legal applications, Litigation Management and E-Discovery systems (e.g.

, technical support, triage support, DB management, SQL programming, network drive mapping) *Maintain professional working relationships with IT, Legal, 3rd party Vendors, and Consultants to improve overall effectiveness of IT support and to facilitate completion of IT related operational assignments *Stay current on developments in the Litigation Management space with a focus on the technology side (e.g.

, best practices, IT responsibilities, IT systems) *Ensure timely and professional responses to Legal IT related issues and systems *Provide technical skills to solve application and migration related issues and serve as designated technical resource on projects (SQL, networks, applications, Document Management, etc) *Support the development/maintenance of IT related procedures (e.g.

, enhanced data preservation, e-mail retention policy, etc.), working with legal stakeholders and Program Leader *Develop and document data mapping between disparate data sources/systems as necessary (understands DB structures, tables, data manipulation, ETL) *Provide Business Analysts support when needed to document business process flows Education/Experience *BA/BS degree or equivalent or will be graduating shortly *Must have SQL programming knowledge and an aptitude to learn new applications, systems, procedures, etc.
